A Message From The APPA President &
The APPA Auxiliary President
To Mr. Nestor Natanauan, Talisay Mayor; Mr. Nelson Terrible, CEO-Sagip Taal Lake & Balai Isabel Resorts; Mr Earl Torres, VP-Balai Isabel Resorts; Mr. Alfred Anciado, & other Talisay officials; Dr. Jim Sanchez of HOW; the APPA, APPA Auxiliary, and Friends:
I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for your invaluable support during our recent Medical Mission in Talisay, Batangas. Your expertise, dedication, and compassion played a crucial role in the success of our mission to serve the community. The spirit of camaraderie, collaboration, long hours of hard work, and unwavering support made a lot of difference in providing the best possible care to those in need.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Ferdinand Apolonio, Talisay Mission Chairman and APPA immediate past president, who donated all those heavy plaques and beautiful name tags, Dr. Onie Salita; Dr. Ging Sadorra and her husband Boy, and their friend Lita Mallari; Dr. Susan Soto (formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, currently retired and residing in Balai Isabel, Talisay) and her niece Lani Rodriguez; Enya Montenegro; Violy Montoya; Lavinia Mateo who donated 100 native bags with APPA and APPA Auxiliary logos; Cora Reyes and her niece Leilani David, my daughter Maria Kristina Arriola and her husband Jude Nazareth and my son Peter (our videographer/photographer).
I would also like to thank Rose Espiritu for her effort and determination to help with the mission but unfortunately got sick and was hospitalized at St. Luke’s BGC; and Aida Ramos who in her excitement forgot her luggage in the taxi (she got it back from the honest cab driver). Million thanks to RJ and Mel Garcia for their donation of delicious snacks – pancit, fresh lumpia, club sandwiches, vitamins, APPA t-shirts and caps .
Thank you once again for your outstanding services and for being an essential part of the mission.. I look forward to the opportunity to work together again on our next mission – March 7 to 8, 2026 in Talisay, Batangas with HOW (Hospital on Wheels).

To Friends and Colleagues:
Thank you for supporting the APPA and its Auxiliary.
We are happy to inform you that your donations are
being used for noble humanitarian purposes, like our
recent medical/surgical missions in Talisay, Batangas,
Philippines. We plan to return to Talisay next year for
yet another medical/surgical mission, combined with
humanitarian assistance in the form of food aid and
other durable goods.
Our new website will show you the many local people
who have been benefited by our recent missions. Please
continue to pray for our leaders as well as our members
that we may always try to do what is right with your
financial support. Blessed are we all going to be when
we help the people in need because this action is much
like lending to the Lord – and He will repay us all more
than a hundredfold.
